The Atlanta Police Department have arrested and charged the roommate and the roommate’s boyfriend in the murder of Clark Atlanta University student Alexis Crawford, 21.
Jordyn Jones, 21, and her boyfriend Barron Brantley, 21, have both been charged with malice murder and are being held without bond in the Fulton County Jail. Crawford was reported missing on Nov. 1 and her body was found Friday in a DeKalb County park. The medical examiner has determined the cause of Crawford’s death to be asphyxiation, according to a media statement from APD.
Three days before her disappearance, Crawford reported being sexually assaulted by Brantley at the apartment she shared with Jones near campus.
