Downtown’s Atlanta Marriott Marquis is completing renovations to its in-house restaurant, Sear, with plans to reopen the doors in late December after the Christmas holiday. The redesign will have a more “steakhouse atmosphere” and the menu will incorporate ingredients from local Georgia and Alabama farms. There will also be signature craft cocktails and a specialty bourbon bar offering more than 20 unique and local bourbon selections.
Docent Coffee is now open at 381 Edgewood Ave. in Old Fourth Ward, combining its existing open-roastery space with a new café open for breakfast and lunch serving fresh croissants, homemade sandwiches, soups and toasts.
