The Atlanta Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Atlanta), Central Atlanta Progress and Midtown Alliance will host Open House Atlanta, an insiders’ tour of the city’s most recognizable landmarks, new developments and private spaces. This year’s event will take place the weekend of Oct. 20-21.
Open House Atlanta, which is free and open to the public, will offer self-guided tours as well as the opportunity to meet people who design, build and preserve Atlanta. The Open House is part of a larger network of similar events held around the world.
This year’s tour will include more than 45 buildings throughout Downtown, Midtown, the Westside and Old Fourth Ward. Sites range from sacred, faith-based spaces and historic landmarks, to museums, theaters, cafes, luxury residential communities, hotels and the offices of architecture firms.
Some of the spaces on this year’s tour:
The APEX Museum

Rose + RYE
The Hurt Building
