Major League Soccer has announced that Atlanta-based hip-hop artist 2 Chainz will headline the free MLS All-Star Concert at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, at Historic Fourth Ward Park. Pop-electronic trio Cheat Codes will open the concert, while songwriter/producer/video star Fonzworth Bentley will emcee the event.
While the concert is free, RSVP reservations are required at mlssoccer.com/allstarconcert. Registration does not guarantee entry, which will be first come, first served.
“I am thrilled to be headlining the MLS All-Star Weekend Concert in my hometown,” 2 Chainz said in a media statement. “Thank you to the League and Target for having me, and I can’t wait to see all the fans in Fourth Ward Park.”
The MLS All-Star Game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Aug. 1 with a week of events activities leading up to the big game between MLS and Italy’s Juventus. For tickets and a full list of events, visit mlssoccer.com/all-star/2018.
