Single tickets for blockbuster Broadway musical “Hamilton” at The Fox Theatre will go on sale April 8 at 10 a.m. via foxtheatre.org. The Tony Award-winning production will be staged May 22 through June 10.
There is a maximum purchase limit of four tickets per account for the engagement. When tickets go on sale, prices will range from $80 to $330 with a select number of $550 premium seats available for all performances. There will be a lottery for 40 orchestra seats priced at $10 for all performances. Details for the lottery will be announced soon.
Tickets are expected to sell out instantly, but show producer Jeffrey Seller is warning buyers to beware. “It’s tempting to get tickets any way you can. There are many sites and people who are selling overpriced, and in some cases, fraudulent tickets. For the best seats, the best prices and to eliminate the risk of counterfeit tickets, all purchases for the Atlanta engagement should be made through www.foxtheatre.org.”
Written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, “Hamilton” is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway for a modern sound to America’s history.
