The City of Atlanta is planning an overhaul of DeKalb Avenue with funding from the Renew Atlanta bond referendum approved by voters in 2015. At a recent public meeting, more than 250 residents turned out at Liberty Baptist Church to hear some of the plans for DeKalb Avenue and offer their own feedback.
You can download the public comment card for DeKalb Avenue at this link and return it by Dec. 8 to leave your thoughts on the project.
Planned corridor improvements include repaving, sidewalk and ADA ramp repair and installation, reversible lane removal and addition of bicycle facilities along DeKalb Avenue between the Inman Park-Reynoldstown MARTA station and the city limit.
