The former owner of The Masquerade concert venue in the Old Fourth Ward might be a victim of the same prostitute who is accused of murdering a Google executive by injecting him with a fatal dose of heroin. Police in Milton, GA have re-opened the investigation into the death of Dean Riopelle, who died of a heroin overdose last September. His girlfriend, Alix Tichelman, was with him at the time.

According to a report from our media affiliate CBS46, just two months after Riopelle’s death, Tichelman is allegedly seen on surveillance video on a yacht giving Google executive Forrest Hayes a deadly dose of heroin. Santa Cruz, CA, police say she actually stepped over his body to finish a glass of wine and close curtains before leaving him there to die.

California detectives called Milton police once they saw her previous charges and connection to a death investigation in Georgia. At that time, Riopelle’s death was ruled as an accidental overdose. But now Milton police are going to re-examine their investigation.
