The fourth annual A Taste of the Highlands will be held 2-5 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in John Howell Park on Virginia Avenue. Participants include La Tavola Trattoria, Sala, South City Kitchen, the Food Studio, Flying Biscuit, Pad Thai, Vine, Noche. Proceeds benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. All-inclusive tickets are $30 in advance until noon May 5, and $35 at the door. www.tasteofthehighlands.com.March of Dimes Dining Out begins at 7 p.m. Friday, May 19 with more than 50 restaurants participating. The list includes Bacchanalia, BluePointe and ONE.midtown kitchen. Tickets are $1,250 for a table of 10, and include food, wine, gratuity and admission to the after-party at Twelve Atlantic Station. Atlantic Station will host Wine & Dine 2006, a day of al fresco dining on Saturday, May 20. It will include wine tastings, restaurant samples, cooking seminars, fashion shows and live music. More than 100 fine wines will be matched with fare from 20 eateries, and the Atlanta Wine School will hold seminars. Festivities run 12:30-5 p.m. Tickets are $45 in advance, $55 at the door. Children, strollers and those under 21 are not allowed. Benefits the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia. Choose from soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch, or select cheese, wine and cured meats to take home.

An eclectic mix of restaurants has been announced for Buckhead’s Terminus 100 ground-floor dining area. Along with Aquaknox, a high-end Las Vegas seafood restaurant, there is expected to be a second location of MF Sushi Bar; Lola, a new Italian concept from Here to Serve; and BrickTop, a Naples-based American cuisine restaurant opening its first location outside Florida.

Crave has opened in East Atlanta Village in the former Iris space. The Glenwood Avenue eatery serves eclectic American, including short ribs, risotto crab cakes and blackened tuna. A large patio and free Wi-Fi are also offered.

Druid Hills Baptist Church will its annual Taste of Intown on Saturday, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. featuring an artists’ market, kids activities and samplings from local restaurants from 2 to 4 p.m. The church is located at 1085 Ponce de Leon Ave. at the corner of North Highland. Chicago Nancy’s Pizza has been a hit since it opened two years ago off Ponce de Leon in Atlanta, and is now expanding by open a second location in Buckhead at 3167 Peachtree Rd. The eatery, which delivers, specializes in deep dish, stuffed pizzas.

QUICK BITES: The River Room Restaurant and Tavern on Northside Parkway in Vinings hosts "Mix. Match. Mingle" every Saturday night. Diners can customize their martinis and have a three-course dinner.... Inman Perk Coffee is open at the corner of North Highland Avenue and Elizabeth Street, across from Fritti.... Food 101 Morningside is open at 1397 North Highland Avenue.... Michah Willix, formerly with Fort Lauderdale’s Seasons 52 restaurant, has been named executive chef at ecco in Midtown, slated to open this month.... Daily’s marked its 25th anniversary Downtown in April.... Little Azio will open a third location on Ponce de Leon in downtown Decatur this summer.... Ola at Colony Square, formerly Peri Peri Chicken, has closed and been replaced by fast-food indie That’s a Burger.... Diana Watkins has been named executive chef at The Cafe at East Andrews.... Greg Koetting, former wine specialist at Woodfire Grill, is now at Paul’s in Peachtree Hills.... Spice in Midtown is no longer serving Sunday brunch.... Buckhead Life Restaurants is offering diners free Wi-Fi for their laptops at Nava, Veni Vidi Vici, Corner Cafe, Chops, Pricci, BluePointe, 103 West and the private rooms at Atlanta Fish Market.... Waterhouse on Peachtree Street has closed.
