Millennium Gate Open At Atlantic Station

Atlanta's own Arch de Triomphe -- The Millennium Gate -- was officially opened at a ceremony on the Fourth of July. It's more than just a piece of art in the middle of Atlantic Station, there's also a museum inside. Exhibits include "From Atlantic Steel To Atlantic Station," about transforming the Midtown site into the live/work/play development, and "Atlanta: Then and Now." The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The Gate also has its own website, which features admission and exhibition info. www.thegateatlanta.com.
