HAVE YOU BEEN YET? Photos by Brent Sturgis
The Georgia Aquarium was averaging 14,000 visitors per day, and the crowds continue to flock to Atlanta's hottest attraction. More than 40,000 annual passes were sold in just a few months time and 2 million people are expected to see the $200 million dollar facility this year. Billed as the world's largest aquarium, the 8-million-gallon tank holds 100,000 animals and marine life. Freelance photographer Brent Sturgis braved the crowds to create this photo essay exclusively for Atlanta INtown.
