The Old Fourth Ward Business Association will host the third annual Fire in the Fourth Festival taking place on Saturday, May 20, from 3 to 11 p.m.

The festival, which commemorates the historic Great Atlanta Fire of 1917, will celebrate with a never-before-seen interactive installation of the 100-year history of Boulevard. Festival attendees will interact with historical images and stories from just before the Great Atlanta Fire in 1917 all the way to 2017.

There will also be live music, theatre performances, dancers, visuals artists, circus performers and more providing entertainment throughout the festival.

Attendees will also enjoy Wicked Weed Brewing craft beers, Tito’s Handmade Vodka custom cocktails and food from local restaurants. Festival goers looking for an upgraded experience can purchase tickets to the The Total View VIP, which features a special viewing area, specialty bar featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka, craft brews from Creature Comforts and Arches Brewing, and a catered buffet by Bone Lick BBQ. A limited number of early bird VIP tickets are on sale now for $50 at this link.

Families can also enjoy the Kid’s Hot Spot featuring Atlanta Fire Rescue Department and educational programs, art activities, dance performances and physical fitness by Operation PEACE, Moving in the Spirit, The King Center’s Camp NOW and The Kindezi School from 3 to 6 p.m. Additionally, the Old Fourth Ward Business Association will host a special magnet and sticker drive upon entry of the festival to raise neighborhood awareness and help fund beautification projects.
